Co-designing peer support
Uscreates helped pupils and staff at Cherry Orchard Primary School create a peer listening service called ‘We’re Here for You’. This allows pupils to voice and seek advice about their day-today concerns and served to build relationships within the school and local community.

A facilitator worked hand in hand with pupils, listening to their opinions and helping them to develop a bespoke peer mentoring package complete with t-shirts and logos, log books and sign up boards. Pupils trained as ‘listeners’ designed, promoted and led the service, creating ownership from the initial concept exploration through to the final stages.
