Redesigning public services
The London Collaborative, an ambitious programme to improve the capacity of London’s public sector, commissioned Uscreates to deliver a workshop as part of the London Futures Challenge programme to redesign public services in the face of spending cuts.
We worked alongside the Young Foundation and Office for Public Management to create an immersive experience unlocking people’s creativity when faced with increasingly severe limitations.
A range of exercises and tools helped stimulate creative thinking and discussion around challenging tasks. Participants explored ways to downsize and make reductions through scenarios designed to support divergent thinking, such as listing 100 ways to make 100 units 40% less.
