Uscreates was invited to visit the Community Food Enterprise, a social enterprise which believes ‘that access to food is a right, not a privilege.’ The Community Food Enterprise runs a number of projects from providing affordable, fresh fruit and vegetables across Newham through their Social Food Outlets, to delivering Community Food Worker’s training courses. 

When we visited, we where given a tour around the logistics of supplying fruit and veg to a borough which has some of the UK’s food deserts and shown new exciting initiatives for juice bars in schools.  It was all very inspiring.
