National Health Promotion Conference

Mary Rose Cook and Zoë Stanton presented Uscreates’ work around improving eating behaviours in the workplace at the Nation Health Promotion Conference 2008.

The Experience Food at Work initiative was the focus of one of the workshops at the conference and shared Uscreates’ experiences and successes in applying a social marketing approach to developing workplace healthy eating interventions.

The event was an excellent opportunity to share learning on health promotion with presentations from a whole range of topics ranging from physical activity to sexual health and from smoking cessation to health trainers.

Key Speakers at the conference included;
Dawn Primarolo, Minister of State for Public Health
Sir Michael Marmot, Chair of the World Health Organisation Commission
Graham Rushbrook, Director of Health First
Clive Blair-Stevens, Deputy Director of the National Social Marketing Centre
