Joanna Choukeir, Lead Designer at Uscreates, has just started her PhD research at the London College of Communication, University of the Arts, London.

The research focuses on the use of communication design methods in engaging young generations from different social groups. It takes the social structure in Lebanon as a case study for generating a transferable set of guidelines which could be applicable in any similar environment where community interaction is restricted by ethnic, religious, political or demographic partitions.
