Design Means lecture at Goldsmiths

Mary and Zoe were invited by the Department of Design at Goldsmiths to come and do a guest talk for their Design Means lecture series.
Mary shared the methods and tools we use at Uscreates (check out some of our tools and techniques here) and Zoe shared some relevant case studies including our co-creation work on chlamydia screening and early diagnosis of cancer.
The pair then initiated a discussion on what design means to Uscreates around the following points:
Design means …
… collaboration
… our unique selling point
… not being exempt from ethical procedures
… an approach to business
… recognising its limitations
… continuously building on previous designs, methods, and processes
