Entrepreneurial Fellowship
Mary Rose Cook and Zoe Stanton, Uscreates founding directors, have been asked to become Entrepreneurial Fellows of Goldsmiths College, University of London, where they both studied design.
The Fellowship is through Goldsmiths’ Institute for Creative and Cultural Entrepreneurship (ICCE), which ‘delivers enterprise education to the creative and cultural sectors, and supports research into new approaches to business and financial models in the Creative Economy’.
On 20th October Mary and Zoe were invited by ICCE to attend a lecture on “Building London’s Future” delivered by Goldsmiths alumna Tessa Jowell, Cabinet Office minister. The minister spoke about: the future of London; the city that will emerge from the economic downturn; and the role of London 2012 in fueling the economic recovery, bringing communities closer together, and driving positive social change.
