Reducing misuse of A&E services
Uscreates have begun work on a new project with NHS East Midlands on the inappropriate use of Accident and Emergency services.
Misuse of emergency services can mean a poor patient experience as well as increased pressures and costs on services.
We will be gathering insight into the behaviours of 0-4 year olds and 15-24 year olds across the East Midlands, and developing recommendations to help achieve the goal of reducing the amount of people coming to A&E with relatively minor symptoms that might be best treated elsewhere.
