Birmingham Council commissioned Uscreates to work with them on their Building Schools for the Future programme to radically redesign learning environments.
As part of the Government’s Building Schools for the Future Programme, fourteen Schools in Birmingham are being rebuilt, renewed and refurbished with input from stakeholders including students, parents and teachers.
Uscreates have been working with Birmingham Council on their BSF programmme for the past year to ensure future school designs are relevant and inspiring for years to come. The design of the schools will consider the physical environment as well as the way we learn, redesigning buildings, systems, tools and public policy.
Outcomes
Consultation sessions with students, teachers, and parents across Birmingham.
Evaluation and report documents informing future procurement processes.
An estimated 500+ stakeholders consulted through ‘drop in’ consultations, INSET events, workshops and Think Tanks.
