We find new ways of designing for the future, by bringing together individuals, teams and organisations to collaboratively explore emerging topics, tools and technologies and their potential impact on our health and wellbeing.
Our experimental projects and collaborative networks help spot the latent opportunities for innovation and address cross-organisational challenges - from self-care to artificial intelligence - in exploratory and iterative ways.
How we work
EXPERIMENTS IN ACTION
We're currently exploring:
Technology is rapidly changing the way we live, work and play. We'll be exploring how design can help ensure that emerging technologies are created to benefit our health and wellbeing, rather than hinder it.
Citizens are becoming increasingly hyper connected, with greater expectations from the health and care services they consume. We'll be exploring new ways to better support people to manage and sustain long-term health and wellbeing.
As part of the launch of our new Research and Design Lab, Hatch; we hosted an interactive roundtable exploring the impact of artificial intelligence on the future of health and care services. In this post, our Design Director provides a snapshot of the event, emerging insights and the process of using scenario design to facilitate critical discussion.
An extremely thought-provoking and dynamic session, brilliantly facilitated by the UsCreates team, which demonstrated the hugely varying attitudes of the potential to exploit technology to drive patient experience, and started to explore some of the key risks and opportunities involved.
